On the 21st of July was the annual Dentistry Ball – the classier sister to the notorious Dent wine and cheese. This was an event where girls and boys alike proved that dent kids are much more than teeth and blue scrubs hidden by a dusty PPE banana suit. It was a night of glitz and glam, fake tans, food, drinks and a whole lot of photography. The ball was themed masquerade this year and special mention goes out to Reuben Hendrie and Aline Da Cruz for the most fabulous masks on the night. A big shout out to OhRentMe dress hire and Orascoptix for providing us with some fantastic spot prizes, and MAS and Henry Schein for their continued support of Dentistry events. Overall the night was a success, and if we have learnt anything it is to avoid spilling drinks on the dance floor as this likely leads to broken ankles (RIP).
